FYI: The Clissold Park paddling pool *WON’T* be open this weekend. It has to be repaired every year and that has not happened yet due to the bad weather and the time it takes for the repairs to set. (via @clissoldpeople)

Mystery solved: According to the Clissold Park manager the slide in the playarea has been fenced off because the mound has been deemed hazardous due to exposed bricks. Work to repair the mound likely to take a while by the looks of things. (@clissoldpeople)

@PaulieTandoori Tried it a few times after it reopened as the SN Tea House and had a couple of disappointing beers (too warm, too flat) and never went back. Realised that maintaining and serving beer was perhaps ‘not their thing’. Luckily we are blessed with so many alternatives!
